As part of the exhibition dedicated to Jack Goldstein at the Kunst Museum Winterthur, MAMCO is relaying an expert-led tour bringing together several key contributors to the project. This public event offers an opportunity to deepen the understanding of the artist’s work and to shed light on the historical, aesthetic and institutional issues at stake in this off-site collaboration.

The tour is led by Lynn Kost, curator of the exhibition, in dialogue with Lionel Bovier, Director of MAMCO Geneva, and Jochen Kienzle, founder of the Kienzle Art Foundation (Berlin). Together, they offer a cross-disciplinary perspective on Goldstein’s career, a major figure of the Pictures Generation.

This visit forms part of the cycle of off-site projects initiated by MAMCO during the renovation period of its building and reflects a commitment to strengthening exchange and synergies between the collections of Swiss museums.
