Sarah Benslimane is the 2025 winner of the Manor Cultural Prize of the Canton of Geneva. Born in France in 1997 to an Algerian father and a French-Swiss mother, she lives and works in Geneva. Sarah Benslimane belongs to a generation of artists whose work has been influenced by the Internet. Her paintings and sculptures reflect the flood of information, images, styles and stories that are instantly available, and she creates unexpected combinations of these fragments. After a presentation at the Geneva Centre d'Art Contemporain in 2022, the Manor Cultural Prize 2025 will be the occasion for a major exhibition of the artist's work at the Palais de l'Athénée, in collaboration with the Geneva Society of Arts. Sarah Benslimane's exhibition will occupy the Crosnier and Saint-Ours rooms, both of which are dedicated to young artists and to curatorial practice and projects by emerging curators. A first monograph will also accompany the project.
